Ford Fiesta Zetec S details revealed
The new fiesta boasts impressive numbers compared to its outgoing model. Thanks to the cars lower emission of CO2 the annual road tax will be £120.
Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.6-litre Ti-VCT Numbers:
The new Ford Fiesta Zetec S has 20bhp more than the previous model and has a top speed of 120mph.
Ford will also offer the Fiesta Zetec S model with a 1.6-litre TDCi diesel engine which delivers 90bhp and 150lb/ft of pulling power.
The Zetec S diesel returns an impressive 67.3mpg with combined city and motorway driving and emits just 110g/km of CO2 which means a low tax bill of £20 under new rules which come into effect next year – down from £35.
Thanks to the Zetec S getting new 16-inch five spoke alloy wheels, projector headlamps, a deeper front bumper, side mouldings and a rear spoiler the car has a very sporty look.
And it continues inside thanks to a leather steering wheel, bolstered sports seats, a 30mm lower driving position and trim colours and designs “inspired by snowboards.”
The new Ford Fiesta, which is in its sixth generation will be officially shown at the upcoming British motor show.
Prices for this car are to be announced at the British motor show next week but expect it to be around £13,000.
